1. About Checka
Checka is a construction software platform designed to help users identify, log, track, and manage potential issues on building projects. Our system includes AI-powered features to assist with defect detection, issue tagging, and project documentation.
2. Who can use Checka
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of any organisation or client linked to your use.
3. AI-powered insights and your responsibility
Checka uses artificial intelligence to assist with the identification and description of construction-related issues. These suggestions are based on patterns from prior data and your uploaded content (e.g. images or notes).
AI-generated outputs may vary in quality depending on image clarity, lighting, framing, and context. They should not be considered:
- Expert advice
- A certified inspection
- A substitute for professional judgment
When saving or submitting an issue within Checka, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted the content, including any AI-generated description, with the understanding that it may not be free from error and does not constitute advice.
We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of these outputs. Always confirm results before making decisions or sharing with clients or contractors.
4. Collaboration and shared content
Checka allows for project collaboration with multiple users. All collaborators may view, comment on, or upload data. You are responsible for ensuring any content you contribute is accurate and authorised.
5. Use of third-party content and integrations
Checka may support ingestion of third-party reports and integrate with external systems. We are not responsible for the accuracy or legality of such content. Use of third-party tools is governed by their own terms.
6. Platform access and use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform unlawfully
- Reverse engineer or disrupt services
- Share login credentials
- Interfere with others' use or rights
7. Intellectual property
All software and content belong to Checka or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a licence to use it to operate the platform.
8. Limitation of liability
Checka is provided "as-is." We are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the platform or its AI suggestions. Australian Consumer Law rights are not excluded.
9. Dispute resolution
We're committed to resolving issues fairly and efficiently. If you have a concern, please contact us at [email protected] before taking formal action.
